I started toying around with web coding in 1998 and began freelancing in the mid-00’s before finally deciding to complete an Internet Professional Associate in Arts Degree from Washtenaw Community College in 2012.
I am currently employed full-time as a Web Developer, spending my workdays turning my co-workers’ designs into dynamic websites, largely using the WordPress CMS paired with the Advanced Custom Fields plugin, with a specific personal focus on performance and accessibility.

The oldest, still-maintained Power Rangers fansite began as a single <TABLE>-based/pre-CSS webpage in December 1998. These days, the site receives over 125,000 visits per month and consistently ranks in the top 2 in search results for the phrase “power rangers monsters”.

LightningCollectors.com was created to catalog the details of all of Hasbro’s Power Rangers Lightning Collection products in a single, quickly-searchable location and to allow users to keep track of their own personal collections. This WordPress-powered site has a completely customized user account flow as well as extensive ACF-enhanced validation for the admin to keep everything consistent.

Center for Autism Nurturing focuses on evidence-based outcomes that are measurable, positive, and transformative. Their new site was structured to be able to be easily repurposed for their parent company’s other brands.

BCD Meetings & Events is a world-leader in experience design and execution who works with clients to create moments that elevate, motivate, celebrate and inspire. The latest incarnation of their site (the second I’ve built) relies on over two dozen individual reusable block components.

TMC Furniture meges old world craftsmanship and modern American factory muscle without compromising quality, personal touch and passion for design and handcraft.

Virginia Tile offers the finest selection of porcelain, ceramic, stone, glass, metal, and mosaic design solutions from the preeminent manufacturers in the world. On a regular basis, a third-party system that maintains inventory outputs a CSV containing the latest modifications to product lines, patterns, and tiles for import by a custom tool into the WordPress CMS.

The Ann Arbor Summer Festival is traditionally a nearly four-week gathering of performing arts, outdoor entertainment, and community spirit. The latest incarnation of the website was built during the COVID-19 pandemic and was developed to accomodate both traditional, in-person events as well as live, digital events. It makes heavy use of modern image handling techniques to ensure speedy load times across all devices and connections.

PEA Group offers an integrated approach to site design that includes civil engineering, land surveying, landscape architecture, and geotechnical consulting.

AF Group is an industry leader and a premier provider of innovative insurance solutions through their seven brands specializing in workers’ compensation insurance. The individual brand sites all begin from the same starting point but each branch out in their own specific directions. These eight sites replaced a group of five sites previously developed and launched in December 2014.
